Yes. Every state maintains its own unclaimed property program, and anyone can file directly with their state treasury or controller at no cost. Each state’s website allows you to verify and claim property that belongs to you.
The process can involve locating old records, verifying addresses, or gathering proof that ties you or your business to the reported property.
Many people prefer help because they:
Have moved several times,
Are dealing with an estate or closed business, or
Don’t want to handle paperwork or follow up with the state.
My service handles the details, completes the claim paperwork, and tracks the process until you receive payment.
By law, a finder’s fee may not exceed the limit set by each state (typically 10 % of the recovered amount).
You pay only after the state pays you.
There are no upfront or hidden fees — if you don’t get paid, neither do I.
No. The state always mails or deposits the payment directly to you.
You then pay my agreed-upon fee separately under our signed agreement.
That’s your right — you can always file directly.
However, because I located and disclosed this property to you, the same 10 % fee still applies if you recover it within 180 days of signing.
This clause simply ensures fair compensation for the time and research I invested.
Yes. Every state allows private individuals or businesses to assist in locating unclaimed property, provided that:
The property is already held by the state,
The agreement is signed after you receive written disclosure of the property, and
The fee does not exceed that state’s legal limit (usually 10 %).
My agreements and process follow those state laws.
All property information comes directly from official state databases.
You can always verify the claim by visiting your state’s unclaimed-property website and searching your name or business.
You’ll see the same amount and holder information that I disclosed to you.
Once you sign and return the agreement, I’ll:
Provide the official claim forms,
Help you gather the required proof of ownership, and
Either assist you in submitting the claim or submit it on your behalf (depending on the state).
After you receive your funds, you simply send the agreed-upon fee.
You can cancel in writing any time before your claim is submitted.
If you cancel but later recover the same property within 180 days of signing, the standard fee still applies after you’re paid.
I personally did the legwork to locate your funds and verify that they belong to you.
When you choose to work with me, you’re not only saving time and avoiding paperwork—you’re also supporting a disabled veteran who takes pride in reuniting people and businesses with money they might never have known existed.
My only goal is to make the process fast, accurate, and stress-free for you.
